M. Alison Seale
Seale was born in Montreal, Quebec, graduated from the Nursing School of Hamilton General Hospital, and now lives in Cobourg.
She studied painting with James Paget from 1986 to 1994, and with Peter Kolisnyk from 1968 to 1986. She has participated in juried art shows at the Art Gallery of Northumberland, and in galleries in Whitby, Pickering, and Toronto.
Artist's Statement: Painting is an expression of the human spirit, and for me, it is also an avenue for going inward. My work is meant to speak to the viewer on this level, as well as being visually compelling.
